ISRA Supports 200 to Kick Off Chase

The ISRA POWER Series begins its 3 race ‘Chase to the Championship’ this Sunday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The event, The “ISRA Supports 200”, marks the second live streaming race for the series this season after the Daytona 250 earlier this year. The race, which will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project, can be seen live at www.webracingnetwork.com at 9pm EST.

The Chase this season sees a “no room for error” 3 race schedule featuring new tracks to the series. After Charlotte the drivers will have to maneuver the tight quarters of Martinsville as well as the high banks of Rockingham Speedway. ISRA veteran Mike Kelley leads the series after the final regular season event at Iowa last week. However, a schedule conflict will put series rookie and season long rival of Kelley’s, Nicolas Maynard, on top of the hill heading into the Chase. In Kelley’s absence drivers Terry McCuin and Dave Boden will be the favorites to battle Maynard for the series title. Both McCuin and Boden have been to victory lane this year and will need to return if they hope to compete for their first series title. Also, in the hunt are series veterans John Hensley, Barry Brooks, Doug Sigmon, Evan Ethell and Allen McEwen. Looking to play the March Madness upset roll will be series rookie Matt Murphy who despite missing 4 races this season finds himself in the last Chase spot after a stellar season of his own.

P.O.W.E.R. Series Daytona 250 LIve

This Sunday the ISRA POWER Series tackles the high banks of Daytona International Speedway for race 10 of the Winter Series season. The race will mark a historic event for the series as the race will be showcased to the world via live streaming thanks to the Web Racing  Network.

The race will kick off live on www.webracingnetwork.com at 9pm est this Sunday and can be viewed for free via their website. The race marks the first Superspeedway race of season and sees Mike Kelley try to extend his points lead with only 4 races left in the regular season before the 3 race Chase for the title kicks off at Charlottle March 24th, also being streamed live via WRN.
